Troubleshooting - General Noise & Vibration

If you hear any noises or feel any vibrations that seem out of the ordinary, try to find where it is coming from. Due to the nature of the Tomcar's capabilities and the abuse it goes through, a simple case of a loose nut or bolt is possible. Once you have found where the noise comes from, go to the relevant troubleshooting section to diagnose the issue. Other noises and vibrations not covered in other sections are grouped here.

Rattling zip on canopy
The zipper's on the roof pockets tend to rattle. Simply tuck the zip in on itself.  This will stop the rattling.

Rattling jack handle
The jack handle (yellow plastic) may vibrate and cause a rattling sound. Ensure that it is mounted securely and tight.
