Setting correct ride height - Rear:


1. Place the vehicle on a flat and even/level surface.


2. Release handbrake, straighten the front wheels and put the vehicle in neutral gear.


3. Rock the vehicle side to side to settle/level the Tomcar.


4. Move the vehicle forwards and backwards one foot by rotating the rear wheel.


5. Measure the distance between the floor and the bottom right corner of the rear tube.


 CAUTION:  Do not sit or lean on the vehicle during any of these steps as this will alter the vehicle's ride height.


  


6. Measure the distance between the floor and the bottom left corner of the rear tube.


 


7. The distance should be 38cm on either side. If not, raise the rear wheels off the ground and adjust the spring tension accordingly and proceed to Step 7 below.


8. Place vehicle back on the ground and follow steps 1 to 6 again until both sides measure 38cm.

6. Measure the distance between the floor and the front left skid plate next to the rock crushers.


 

  

7. The distance should be 38cm on either side. If not, raise the rear wheels off the ground and adjust the spring tension accordingly and proceed to Step 7 below.


8. Place vehicle back on the ground and follow steps 1 to 6 again until both sides measure 38cm.
